This 4-hour online course is aimed at a wide audience including professionals from domestic abuse charities, money/debt advice services, local authorities, the police, the legal sector, the housing sector, and the financial services, banking and insurance sectors. It is suitable for anyone who may encounter economic abuse or support victim-survivors in their role.
The course is an interactive experience, incorporating group discussions and exercises, led by a highly experienced facilitator. The aims of the course are to increase the knowledge, confidence and skills of professionals to recognise and respond to economic abuse and provide an opportunity to consider how they can respond to and contribute to the economic safety of victim-survivors.
