Working for SEA
Surviving Economic Abuse is committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion. We strive to build and develop a workforce that reflects the diversity of the women we support and seek to ensure that all job applications are treated fairly, with respect and without bias.
We encourage applications from suitably experienced candidates regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation. We are particularly interested to hear from individuals from communities that are under-represented.
We are a small team dedicated to creating change for victim-survivors of economic abuse. Our team is made up of both female and male colleagues. However, vacancies for some of our roles may apply single-sex exemptions where there is proportionate and legitimate reason to do so. This will apply when it is deemed an occupational requirement due to contact with female victim-survivors of abuse. Any exemptions will always be explicitly stated within our job listings.
We welcome applications from individuals who share and can demonstrate a commitment to our values.

Working with survivors
SEA is survivor-led and this is central to our values. We work with a group of women – the Experts by Experience Group – whose knowledge and experiences shape our work. We strongly encourage anyone interested in working for SEA to read about our work and about how we aim to ensure the Experts by Experience is an accessible space for victim-survivors before applying.
