This webinar will explore how economic abuse is a key risk factor in domestic homicides and suicides and the importance of recognising this form of domestic abuse to ensure lessons are learned to prevent further lives being lost. 

In this webinar, we will also provide practical guidance to help CSPs and independent practitioners identify, recognise, and develop recommendations on economic abuse. We will also introduce our new e-learning training, designed to ensure economic abuse victims experiences are fully understood in DHRs/DARDRs. 

During this webinar, we will: 

  • Highlight key findings and recommendations from our report on economic abuse in DHRs. 
  • Share highlights from SEA’s new e-learning to help professionals embed economic abuse considerations in reviews. 
  • Demonstrate how CSPs and independent practitioners can learn from our research to improve DHR/DARDR recommendations, improve local responses to economic abuse and prevent future harm.
