Building Capacity Service

A range of stakeholders come into contact with victims and survivors of economic abuse, including domestic violence support services, statutory agencies and financial, legal and political institutions. Through our Capacity Building Service we work to integrate understanding of economic abuse and appropriate support into existing services. This includes providing training and technical assistance through the development of tools and resources. Contact SEA for more information.

“The materials you shared are really useful tools for us. I have a case where I raised a safeguarding alert back in 2014. Back then I had not heard the term ‘coercive control’. I found it really interesting how many of the boxes (isolation etc.) would have been ticked and wonder if I had had a better way to express my concerns I could have got a better and more robust response “
